Before embarking on my journey to Tibet, I was full of anticipation and curiosity. What kind of experience will Tibet, this mysterious and distant place, bring to me? With such questions in mind, I began my journey to Tibet.

My first stop is Lhasa, the pearl on the plateau. When visiting the Potala Palace, I met an old Tibetan man who told me about the history of the Potala Palace in less fluent Chinese. His words revealed his deep love and respect for this land. This makes me think about how, we foreign tourists, should respect and understand the local culture and beliefs while enjoying the beautiful scenery.

In the communication with the elderly, I realized that travel is not only about seeing the scenery, but also about a cultural exchange and learning. I began to pay more attention to Tibetan customs and try to understand their way of life, which gave me a deeper understanding of Tibet.

Next, I went to Namco. I was shocked by the clear water of the lake and the blue of the sky. However, I felt very sad when I saw some tourists leave rubbish on the lake. This has led me to think about the problem of environmental protection in tourism. How can we protect these precious natural resources while enjoying the natural beauty?

In the reflection, I decided to start from myself, not to leave any garbage, and to publicize the importance of environmental protection to the people around me. In my opinion, every tourist should become a practitioner of environmental protection and jointly maintain this beautiful land.
In addition, I also experienced the Tibetan B & B. The communication with the hotel owner made me feel the hospitality of the Tibetans. They not only provide a comfortable accommodation environment, but also share their life stories and hope for the future. This has made me realize that tourism is also a kind of cultural exchange, which can shorten the distance between different cultures.
In the conversation with the hotel owners, I learned about their views on the development of tourism. They hope that tourism will bring economic benefits to the local area, and they worry that excessive commercialization will undermine traditional culture and lifestyle. This makes me think about how to find a balance between developing tourism and protecting traditional culture.
Through this trip to Tibet, I deeply realized that, as tourists, we have the responsibility to respect the local culture and environment. We need to enjoy the fun of traveling and become cultural communicators and guardians of the environmental protection.
Finally, I concluded that a trip to Tibet is not only a physical trip, but also a spiritual baptism. It taught me how to travel, experience, learn and respect with a more responsible attitude.
To sum up, I have gained a lot from my trip to Tibet. I not only enjoyed the magnificent natural scenery, but also deeply realized the cultural diversity and the importance of environmental protection. I brought these valuable experiences and thoughts back to my hometown, hoping to influence more people and make joint contributions to the protection of the planet and promote cultural exchanges.
